Join Community Herbalist & founder of Hedge School Hannah-May for 'Plant Folk' - an exploration into plants in conjunction with the heat and stillness of Sauna

Being with plants is a doorway, a way to slow down, to listen & to nurture new relationships; new relationships with plants & different ways of being in relationship with ourselves & other kin. Being with plants in many ways teaches us about the ecology of relationships, how to be a partner outside the parameters of the human domain. How to pay attention to that which is often overlooked & disregarded.

For our resident Herbalist Hannah-May, plant work is a practice of deepening connection & learning how to have richer relationships.
So as spring emerges, so too does our monthly moot, a sauna session that makes space for seasonality, herbalism & native, wildcrafted plants.
Through these monthly sessions we will foster a curiosity for learning through the body. Each month we will spend time with a different plant. We’ll share about the medicinal properties & folklore of the plant, meditate with plants, experience organoleptic tea tastings with wildcrafted herbal teas. We'll also have the opportunity to work with each plant in the sauna, through alternating traditional cleansing practices.
The 1st of May will be a special session, to celebrate Beltane. It will be slightly longer, starting at 16:30. This time will allow you to give pause to reflect, celebrate, and be with yourself through the vessel of ritual.
