At Leeds Community Sauna, we are committed to ensuring our space is welcoming and accessible to as many people as we can make possible. We believe that wellbeing should be inclusive and barrier-free.
Our Site
The site itself is in the design stage and has not been built.
We are aiming to have:

Accessible toilet and changing room
Seating available
Quiet sessions / a quiet sauna
Parking directly next to the sauna site for blue badge holders

The Saunas
We are in the process of designing and building two saunas. We have taken accessibility into account during the design and build of our first saunas, and we aim to make a fully wheelchair accessible sauna available in the future.
Focus Groups
We kicked off our commitment to greater accessibility with a disability and accessibility focus group. We plan to continue our learning with more staff training and future focus groups to enable feed-in from our community.
