First time in a sauna?
Don't be worried - here's some top tips to help you have the best time!

Bring two towels!
One to sit on and one to dry off with! (or you can rent a towel for £2)
You'll also need to bring:
- Swimwear
- Flip-flops or Crocs
- A bag for wet stuff
- Warm clothes for afterwards

What actually happens?
A typical sauna session is a relaxed, self-paced experience. You’ll alternate between time in the
wood-fired sauna and cooling off outdoors or in the cold plunge pool.
You’re welcome to chat with other sauna goers or sit in silence and enjoy bringing your attention to the present moment.
Sessions are either 1hr or 1hr 15 minutes, and you can take it at your own pace. Most people
stay in the sauna for 10-20 minutes at a time before cooling down in the plunge pool. This
alternating hot-cold is amazing for the body and mind!

Arriving and check-in
We are situated on Kirkstall Valley Farm, and have no parking on site, so be sure to arrive early. You can find more information about finding us here.
If you get here 10 minutes before your session, you will have plenty of time to relax into it - that's what this is all about!
Our friendly staff will take your name, tell you about our sauna and answer any questions you have. You don't need to have anything ready.
