£30k pro rata
Based at Kirkstall Valley Farm, option to work from home 1day/week
30hours/week, including evenings, early starts and weekends.
What you’ll be doing
Each of our director members will take the lead on one of five teams in the management and administration of Leeds Community Sauna. Alongside this role, you are expected to spend a minimum of three shifts per week at the Sauna, partaking in the day-to-day tasks of opening the site, lighting the fires, welcoming customers, cleaning the saunas etc.
We expect that ca. 15 hours per week will be spent on administrative duties, half of which will be carried out at the Kirkstall site, with the option to work from home one day a week. The remaining hours per week will be spent on operational duties, where your role will be to ensure a positive, comfortable experience for everyone who comes along to use the site.
You’ll also be a Director Member of the cooperative, meaning you get an equal say with the rest of the team about how the business is run.
We are currently flexible about which of the teams that this Sauna Officer will lead on.
