Imbolc - Rituals of Spring

Join Community Herbalist & founder of Hedge School Hannah-May for an evening of ritual, rest & renewal.

Imbolc is an ancient festival that celebrates the coming of the light, and the coming of spring. A festival that gives thanks to the sun & the seeds, seeds that in the months to come will nourish and feed us.

Imbolc is also a time of reflection; a threshold. Its a time when we find ourselves midway between the Winter Solstice & Spring Equinox, the dark and the light. Historically, these thresholds were significant in our communities. They were times where folk would gather, share stories, share songs, share insight. A time to dig deep into the mulch of the year passed & to be with the lessons, the learning.

What do you want to nurture this cycle round the sun? What do you want to shed?

This session is first and foremost an opportunity to be with yourself through the vessel of ritual.

You can expect folklore, wildcrafted smudge, a traditional plant cleanse 'Limpia', herb infused steam sauna, handmade sensuous salt scrub, revitalising body oils & wildcrafted herbal tea.
